Rachel Wilborn, MA

PLMHP, Predoctoral Intern

Rachel Wilborn is currently a Pre-Doctoral Intern from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. She received her Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counseling Psychology there in 2024. Rachel also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, where she graduated with Honors.

Rachel's clinical experience includes community mental health, university counseling, and outpatient, working with children, adolescents, college students, adults, couples, marital counseling, families, and psychological assessment. 

Rachel prioritizes creating a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space for her clients. She seeks to understand each client’s unique experiences and meets each person exactly where they are. She emphasizes building a collaborative, and authentic therapeutic relationship.

Rachel provides an individualized approach of what works best for you, integrating various modalities such as: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Gottman Couples Therapy.
