Juliane Nguyen, M.Psy.

Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, Pre-doctoral intern

Juliane Nguyen is currently pursuing her Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) degree at Divine Mercy University and holds a master’s degree in psychology from Divine Mercy University. Her education also includes a special focus on integrating faith into therapy. She is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in the state of Nebraska. Juliane is currently a pre-doctoral intern at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Counseling Center from 2024-2025.

Juliane has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health services, elementary and middle schools, the DC Superior Courts, and private practice. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults, though looks forward to joining clients in all stages of life. Juliane’s approach to therapy involves integrating different interventions and concepts that are tailored to her client’s needs to support them in their flourishing. For example, she pulls from areas such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and client-centered therapeutic orientations.
