jillian Giesselmann, ma

Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner

Jillian Giesselmann MA, LIMHP received her Master’s Degree from Doane University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska.  Her previous clinical experience was completed at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Counseling Center where she practiced at a variety of sites, including Pius X High School and St. Gianna Women’s Home for Domestic Violence. Jillian’s clinical practice includes the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of adolescents, college students and adults with various presenting concerns. Jillian integrates multiple modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Jillian is especially passionate about working with the perinatal/postpartum population and is a trained Perinatal Mental Health Counselor.  She completed her training through Postpartum Support International in 2024. 

Jillian strives to create authentic connections with clients. She believes that the decision to pursue therapy is one of courage and hope and she strives to create a space to encourage healing and self-discovery.
