Jibin James, MA

PLMHP, Predoctoral Intern

Jibin is a Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Illinois school of professional psychology, Chicago, with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and undergraduate training in Theology and Philosophy. His clinical experience spans outpatient, inpatient, PHP, and IOP settings, with a strong emphasis on trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care for children, adolescents, and adults.

He has provided diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, crisis stabilization, and interdisciplinary collaboration in both community clinics and hospital‑based programs. His therapeutic approach integrates TF‑CBT, CPT, CBT, ACT and DBT‑informed skills. Most recently, he served as a Diagnostic Extern at Linden Oaks at Edward Hospital and as a therapy extern at Advocate Trauma Recovery Center , conducting comprehensive assessments, facilitating DBT groups, providing trauma informed treatment and supporting coordinated treatment planning.

Jibin has completed extensive specialized training in TF‑CBT, CPT, AF‑CBT, early childhood trauma, intensive trauma treatment, and DBT. His clinical interests include trauma‑focused therapy, diagnostic assessment, and collaborative care within multidisciplinary systems.
