Emma Stewart, MA

licensed mental health practitioner

Emma Stewart, LMHP, LPC believes that therapy can help us understand ourselves and how we interact with the world around us. She graduated from Doane University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021, is DBT-informed and practices from a person-centered orientation. Emma also holds additional graduate credits from Northern Seminary, having spent 8 years as a protestant before returning to Catholicism, knowing that the integration of spiritual and clinical care can be crucial in finding our ways forward.

Emma’s previous clinical work includes a variety of sites, including Mourning Hope Grief Center, Lincoln High School, and SCC and Doane University Counseling Centers. Emma is passionate about companioning the bereaved of all ages through unique and complex grief.
