Courtney K. Miller, PHD

Director of clinical services

Dr. Miller received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2006. She also holds a Master of Arts degree (MA) in Educational Psychology and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in School Psychology. Dr. Miller is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Nebraska and is the Director of Clinical Services at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Counseling Center (IHMCC).

Dr. Miller first came to the IHMCC in 2001 while completing graduate coursework and completed both her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship with the agency in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 respectively. She then worked as a licensed psychologist on staff until 2010. Dr. Miller recently returned to the IHMCC after a period of “full-time employment” of staying at home with her eight children.

Dr. Miller enjoys working with school systems and has been trained in the Conjoint Behavior Consultation (CBC) model. She also has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Dr. Miller’s practice includes therapy for children, adolescents, and families as well as adults and systems consultation.
