Elizabeth A. Heidt Kozisek, PHD

Dr. Heidt Kozisek received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1996, with a focus on Developmental Child Clinical Psychology. She has been licensed in the state of Nebraska since 1997. Dr. Heidt Kozisek is a staff psychologist and serves as the Director of Outreach and Development at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Counseling Center (IHMCC).

Dr. Heidt Kozisek’s clinical experience includes work in outpatient private practice and community mental health clinics, day treatment programs, and inpatient hospital settings, where she has provided both assessment and therapy. For the last 20 years, she has been involved in the development and implementation of abuse prevention and victim outreach programs for the Roman Catholic Church. She has served as the Director of Child Protection, Safe Environment Coordinator, and Victim Assistance Coordinator for her local diocese; has been a member of conference planning and development committees for the Secretariat for Child and Youth Protection; and was a consultant to the US Bishop’s Committee for the Protection of Children and Young People.

Dr. Heidt Kozisek resides on a farm near Saint Libory, Nebraska, where she volunteers with high school catechesis and marriage preparation for her parish. Dr. Heidt Kozisek is available for therapy and assessment appointments in central Nebraska as well as telehealth across Nebraska and neighboring Psypact states.
